DESMODUR I

Desmodur® I aliphatic diisocyanate is a clear, low viscosity liquid at room temperature. Desmodur I diisocyanate is generically known as isophorone diisocyanate, often abbreviated to IPDI. The chemical name for Desmodur I is 3-isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate and it is described by CAS registry number 4098-71-9.

Desmodur N® hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) based polyisocyanates - Health and Safety Information

Persons who handle or work with HDI-based polyisocyanates must be familiar with the potential risks involved and must be trained in the safe use and handling of these materials.
